It Takes a Village Too

Inspired by a previous painting with a red undertone, I utilized a warm burnt sienna tonality as the under painting for this piece. I've muted the color somewhat as I worked to layer a variety of grays found along a salt water village. I've built homes using details found in many New England villages and towns in hopes this piece will speak to many who appreciate the natural colors of our landscape.
