Floating Reflections

A close look at this piece reveals layers of texture, line and color. I have painted over another painting creating a new work with richer depth and surface energy. I have taken design liberties with sailboats too as I simplified forms to play with them--scraping and layering color and using a palette knife to reveal surface texture of the under painting.
