I have painted over another painting that I was not totally satisfied with. You can see some of the raised lines on the underpainting if you look closely. I like the way the lines of the earlier painting played a role in how I developed the new painting layers. I have used three simplified sailboat forms as the basis for this piece while dividing the square format into a grid-like design. Hope you enjoy the back and forth of this piece.
