Meeting Up
by Ann Trainor Domingue
I spent some time watching the goings on along the working waterfronts of New England. This scene repeats itself over and over. Fisherman brings in catch, chats with dock worker, and repeats over and over. I chose to find the abstract shapes of the backlit dock guy as the teal colored boat tied up to empty the catch. I've used the building door to highlight the fisherman and countered the rectangle with the slow curve of the boat. And of course I have plenty of colorful grays working here too.
