A local farm setting was the inspiration for this painting. The series of connected buildings surrounded by the landscape is found allover New England. I enjoy working with the contrasting shapes of man-made buildings which use the wood of the landscape bringing the circle of life full circle. I have played with the actual shapes of the real farm and have integrated elements to demonstrate my love for this way of life here in NH.
