More Than Neighbors
by Ann Trainor Domingue
Good neighbors are an amazing resource for getting local info, for providing a bunch of kids for us to watch grow up, and for putting in effort to communicate the old fashioned way by--waving at a distance, stopping the car to say hello, picking up trash barrels that blew away, offering to help shovel or plow snow, sharing drinks at Halloween trick or treating, watching kids meetup to play basketball or throw sand at each other, or walk their dogs hopefully picking up poop as good neighbors do.
